The Tetris world’s city of gold
Betting on the Golden Brix slot starts from just $0.20 per spin and tops out at $50 per spin. It features very low volatility, meaning gameplay will deliver a steady stream of small wins but won’t offer many opportunities for big wins. The slot offers an RTP of 95%.
Winning combinations are formed through a cluster mechanic that triggers when four or more of the same colour symbol touch either horizontally or vertically. With a 1,500x max multiplier, the slot gives you a shot at winning up to $75,000 when you’re betting at the $50-a-spin maximum.

When a winning combination is formed, all symbols involved in that combination are removed. The slot then rotates 45 degrees, and new symbols drop in from the top. If a new winning combination is formed, the process starts again.
Once a winning cluster is removed, all positions that included a symbol from that winning combination will be activated. If an active position is part of another winning combination, it will receive a 2x multiplier applied to any subsequent winning combinations that land on that position.
Landing on the multiplier positions will also double the multiplier value. At the end of each spin, the multipliers will be reset.
A round of the slot’s free spins feature is triggered when a golden brick cluster win forms one of the five Tetris-like shapes. Each Tetris-like shape formed will award three free spins.
During a round of free spins, each cluster win will expand the reels by one row up to a maximum of ten rows. The reels will remain expanded for the remainder of your round.
The slot’s progressive multiplier feature will also be active during free spins, but multipliers will not be reset at the end of each spin. The multipliers will continue to grow throughout your entire round.
In addition to triggering a round of free spins with the golden brick shapes, you can also choose to purchase a round at a cost of 65x your bet.
Is the Golden Brix slot worth its weight in gold?
The slot world can feel a little stale at times, with slots doing very little to distinguish themselves from one another. While I wouldn’t call the Golden Brix slot original, considering its reliance on Tetris, it’s certainly a breath of fresh air. That being said, this one won’t be for everyone, considering the very low volatility and modest max win.
It’s more of a slot game for entertainment than one to chase big wins. All in all, I give the Golden Brix slot a nine out of ten.
