Thunderbirds, a cult classic notable for their 1966 British science-fiction puppet film ThunderBirds Are Go, is getting ready to debut a massive new collaboration with one of our favorite metaverses – The Sandbox!!!

This collaboration is going to be the very first venture into Web3 and the Metaverse for ThunderBirds International Rescue Club, a brand new NFT community based on the classic Television/Film Series. They’re planning on taking the world of International Rescue into the new generation with Metaverse avatars, charity DAOs, NFT drops and Web3 online experiences.

This collaboration with the Sandbox is only their first step and is going to include a generative Avatar Drop which players will be able to use directly in The Sandbox! It will also grant holders future NFT Mints and eventually an entire native GameFi Experience!

Originally Thunderbirds was a show about pushing the limits of what was possible on television, and now they aim to push the limits of blockchain and NFT technology. There will be multiple mints and airdrops, community activities, and even the chance to let owners launch their very own real world “Rescue Missions”.

I couldn’t be more excited to see an officially licensed NFT collection like this collaborating with The Sandbox, which is why I’ve teamed up with them to give out a piece of Sandbox land to one lucky winner!
