However, Solana ETFs maintained their inflow streak, adding $14.83 million and extending gains to a sixth consecutive day. This continued demand points to growing confidence in Solana’s ecosystem, even while other major assets face selling pressure.
Best New Crypto to Buy? MMT Launches On Cexs But Not Without Controversy
Momentum (MMT) became one of the top-performing tokens this week, jumping from $0.30 to $4.50 before correcting near $1.30, giving it a market cap of around $1.3 billion (FDV). Still, questions remain about its token distribution, lack of transparency, and volatile price action, as the community can’t claim their airdrop.

Elsewhere, Giggle Fund (GIGGLE) climbed 170% in 24 hours, DeAgentAI (AIA) rose 64%, and ZKsync (ZK) advanced nearly 20%. On Solana, meme coin Jelly-my-Jelly (JELLYJELLY) reached a $400 million market cap after a few wallets accumulated significant supply.
Despite the downturn, momentum in select altcoins continues. With ETF outflows weighing on Bitcoin and Ethereum, traders are rotating toward privacy tokens and Solana-based projects: keeping the search for the best new crypto to buy alive as the market stabilizes.
SEC Puts Crypto Treasury Probe on Hold During Shutdown
The Securities and Exchange Commission has hit the brakes on a wide‑reaching investigation into how public companies have been using crypto in their treasuries. The reason has nothing to do with the industry itself, but with the government shutdown that forced SEC attorneys and investigators into furlough.
The agency was preparing to dig into firms that added Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Solana to their balance sheets and may have seen their stock prices spike shortly after. With most staff out, subpoenas and other enforcement tools have been temporarily shelved.
